Life style modifications.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
With such deranged lipid profile, treatment with medicines is not warranted.
He just needs a few life style modifications as discussed below.
You should also get his blood sugar, thyroid profile and blood pressure checked in case it has not been done yet.
I would advise for him:
1.Weight reduction and regular exercises, yoga, walking and jogging.
2.Avoid Fatty food in diet.
3.To consume potato, rice, oil, ghee, sweets, carbonated beverages in moderated amount only.
4. Avoid alcohol and smoking in case he does that.

If these life styles are adopted well, the cholesterol gets under well control with out medicines.
Get his lipid profile repeated after 3 months and write back to me with reports.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Risk is dependent on multiple factprs

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Risk of heart attack is dependent on multiple factors are obesity, smoking, dyslipidemia, family history of cardiac issues.
A single risk factor like High cholesterol can't mark the risk.
So, if we go by just his cholesterol considering that his all risk factors are negative, then based on this reading he has a low risk of heart attack. However, this needs to be controlled now in order to be sure it doesn't increases to a level of high risk.
Good Luck.
