Cataract surgery can be safely done in this age.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

I can understand your concern regarding your father and I appreciate the same.
No need to be worried as usually people who come for cataract surgery are aged and will be in the age group of more than 60 years.

The cataract surgery has undergone lot of developments in the recent years and it has become very simple day care surgery with almost minimal complications. Cataract surgery can be done safely in this age and no need to be worried about it.

In your city you can consult eye hospital with facility of phacoemulsification. Since I am not from that area I don't have much information regarding the eye hospital in your place, XXXXXXX

Hope this information is helpful to you.
