Is Cancer Genetically Inherited?
Question: My grandfather died from the complications in this photo. I learnt his brother died at the same age. they werle heavy drinkers, and smoked.
My other great uncle is dying of stomach cancer; heavy drinker, too. Is it a concern that it may be genetic, or could it have been cause by the above mentioned drinking? I'm worried. i know some families have predispositions to certain cancers.

For sure the genetic has the big role in the cancer predisposid But in this case you should prevent the risk factor such as alchool and smoking

so, why did he die? if he had caught it early, would the prognosis have been better?

how do we catch those things? i dont understand how people miss that!!! i woukd be going to get tested weekly at that age.
