Is Backache A Symtpom Of Pancreatitis?
Question: 39 M, I avg about 3 beers a mth. However, last Fri i had 2 beers and about 7 mixed drinks. Starting Sunday till now my back is hurting. Could it be pancreatitis

Pancreas is located in upper abdomen, above bellybutton. It is located beneath the stomach, close to the vertebrae.
Pain from the pancreas will be located in the back,in the middle area,below the rib cage.
It is difficult to say about pancreatitis based on pain.
Apart from pain,some will have Vomiting, distension of abdomen, constipation, respiratory problem etc
You should get investigations like Serum Amylase and Serum Lipase for confirmation.
Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue.
