Look, rat bite fever is caused by two types of gram-negative facultative anaerobic bacteria.

Now, this disease is generally treated by penicillin or erythromycin or tetracycline group of drug.

Augmentin contains amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin is a beta lactam group of drug. It is basically a penicillin with extended spectrum. So, it can be used to treat the rat bite fever.

So, you can take it. But for dosing and frequency, you should consult with your treating doctor.
