default
Posted on Mon, 1 Feb 2016
Question: Hello ,
I am 43 . My period has not come for the last 2 months and I am not pregnant. Is this normal at my age? Is there anything I can take to bring my period back?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
I will say observe again for another month!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about the absence of periods and all the inconveniences this has caused you. At your age, it could be related to menopause onset and more so if there is a history of early menopause in your family. Please, ask your mom at what age did she stop having her periods. If you have no other symptom, please stay calm and observe again for another month. Only seek further care if this fails after the third month. In this case, see an OBGYN for examination and maybe testing to establish what the possible cause is.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Thanks for your reply. Not sure about my mother she has passed away. I get all the symptoms as normal cramps etc but no bleeding. Should I start taking XXXXXXX Cactus to speed things up?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
I will say DO NOTHING!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I will say do nothing at this time. Please, exercise patience for another month and we will push forward to provide more answers if that fails. Any XXXXXXX cactus as this time is premature and will rather make interpretation and continued management difficult.

I hope you can see with me and let’s work together on this. I wish you well. Keep me updated.
