Brief Answer:
Filiariasis is the proper diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
Your husband's treatment has been given for Filariasis. A scrotal doppler Ultrasound report showing "Dance "sign is typically seen in filariasis. That's due to the filarial worms seen there. But there's nothing to worry, as it's treated with DEC.
The blood reports may also show high eosinophil counts and a FNAC test from scrotum may also be done, along with an antigen test for micro-filaria, to confirm the diagnosis.A follow-up at six and twelve months is essential.
The pain will be treated with some anti-inflammatory medicines, which your doctor will prescribe. The swelling in scrotum, maybe temporary, as a fluid called lymph collects in the scrotal sac.
Ensure that medicine is taken daily and he'll be on way to recovery.

Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound abdomen if abdominal pain persists.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX.
I've gone through the report of Ultrasound scan, which is typically seen in Filariasis, affecting scrotum. Also saw the prescription. The treatment for pain relief is also given. That should also reduce the inflammation over the scrotum gradually. If the severe pain recurs or persists, he should have an Ultrasound scan of abdomen as well.
He has been given treatment for prostate enlargement as well, probably as your husband may have some problem in passing urine.
Feel free to contact me by name, if the need arises.
