default
Posted on Tue, 16 Jun 2015
Question: hi ,

I had sex with my wife without any protection once and before 24 hours she had the pills to avoid pregnancy, after that we had safe sex all the time. As of now we have not seen any symptoms of pregnancy. She is just feeling bit lazy that too happened only once today ( 1 day) .
can you please let me know in case if she becomes pregnant can abortion be done using Pills? is it safe? in future can it create issues?
I am worried very much, it would be great if you can clear my doubt.
(Her age is 26 and i am asking question on behalf of her.)

Brief Answer:
Yes medication abortion is possible

Detailed Answer:
she must do a urine preg test if she misses her periods. abortion can be done by medication. success rates about 90 percent. it's generally safe to do medication abortion. there are no long term complications commonly. pl don't worry. it's better to use regular contraceptive pills and not get affected by unsafe sex.
best wishes

Brief Answer:
Anortion tedoius

Detailed Answer:
in XXXXXXX the process is very tedious for abortion. pl do a urine preg test with first morning sample after missed periods. if positive an ultrasound is required. then consent in form c is taken and abortion pills are prescribed and then after 2 wks one repeats ultrasound to see that it's clear.
regular pills are drospirenone EE combinations like XXXXXXX to be taken from day 3 of periods for 21 days.

Thank you Mam.
Last question as this is last followup i guess.
Today my wife did the preg test, it came negative. however her date of period is 25-26th of every month, but she has not got her periods.

can you please let me know if taking i-pill or any contraceptive can shift the periods?
She had i-pill twice so is it because of it she has not got periods yet?
is it something to be worried about?
