Brief Answer:
Consult a gastrosurgeon for detailed evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

Calcified granuloma is a benign(non cancerous ) nodule, usually the result of a prior inflammatory process or infection. It is generally an incidental finding. Calcification indicates that the granuloma has been there for a long period of time and is not an active disease process and no treatment is required in most of the cases. However it is better to do a followup scan after few months to assess whether the size is increasing or other changes in its structure. In some cases a CT scan is advised for better evaluation. The size of the lesion is moderate but no immediate intervention is required generally.
Your digestive problems could be due to gall stones. If you have repeatedly experience pain and digestive problem, you can go for surgical removal of gall bladder preferably by laparoscopic approach.
I suggest you to consult a surgical gastroenterologist and he will direct you accordingly.
Wishing you good health.
Regards
Dr Shinas Hussain

Brief Answer:
Since the size increases better to go for excision.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow up.
Since the size of the lesion increases it is better to do excision.
Most of the granuloma are harmless and no intervention is needed.
But in your case the size is increased, so better to go for surgical excision. No need to worry about the surgery as it is not a big surgery.
Consult a gastrosurgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Single surgery is better

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up.
If you go for open surgery one single sitting is enough for both gall bladder removal and granuloma excision.
But I think your surgeon prefer laparoscopic cholecystectomy(gall bladder removal) and perform a biopsy from the granuloma. The further treatment will depend on the biopsy results.
Your symptoms will most probably subside with gall bladder removal.
Thanks
