Brief Answer: need to clarify certain things. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX hi! there are few points that need clarification. 1. you have mentioned your friend has type 1 diabetes. how did you know that? 2. type 1 usually do not respond to tablets, they need insulin. 3. it is more likely type 2 or some other variant. now as to permanent cure, as of now there is none. first get his c-peptide, GAD antibodies, Islet cell antibodies so that we know what type is it? whether to give tablets or insulin. Regards!

I have been prescribed by my doctor and I have not tested the type of diabetes. He just gave me the medicine and I was taking as per him. Previously I was taking Trigulin LD1 tablet but didn't get sugar level decreased then my doctor changed the tablet to Tribet 1 and asked to take it for 1 month morning & evening before breakfast. Now I am taking that only. Kindly let me know the tests name I should undergo for testing type 1 & type 2 or if any other tests also need to be done so that I will share the results with you as soon as possible.

Brief Answer: tests have been mentioned already. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Hi! i am happy you understood. as you see for yourself that with tribet 1 twice a day , your sugars are still high. this is an indirect evidence that you are type 1 and will not be managed with tablets alone. so please get your C- peptide levels, islet cell antibodies, GAD antibodies level. let me know your reports. meanwhile stop tablets and switch over to insulin. start with novomix - 30 , dose as per your weight. Regards!

Hi, May I go to any pathology directly and ask for testing below mentioned levels for type1/2 diabetes- 1. C- peptide levels 2. Islet cell antibodies 3. GAD antibodies level Also should I go with empty stomach or I can eat something before tests? Also if the tests are fasting & PP both type then should I take the medicine (Tribet1) before breakfast/ PP test? Kindly confirm above things so that I can go to any pathology directly and undergo tests mentioned by you.
