Is Rogaine 5% Minoxidil Topical Solution Suitable For Affected Areas On Scalp?
Question: Hi , I am applying Regain 5% Minoxdil Tropical Solution (J&J) on my scalp at affected areas for hear growth. The same has been recommended by Doctor.I am applying it since last 4 months and witnessed small improvement in hear density which is postive however I found the same solution is available the market by diffrent manfactured at relatively less cost compared to XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX Can I use other company make with sane content? If yes, does it make same impact or there would change in result from company to company. kindly advice some good substitute with relatively less cost.

I have gone through your query and i have understood your concern
Although minoxidil is marketted by various pharma companies however Regaine 5% by XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX has better side effect profile in terms of that it causes less dryness or scaling and there is absolutely no smell (odorless) whereas other brands may cause more scaling/ dryness/scaling of scalp and may also have a particular smell which a patient may not prefer. Otherwise there is no difference in efficacy between regaine and other available minoxidil brands.
