Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

YES
The drug is a beta-blocker – as a class they are helpful in Anxiety and Panic
It DOES reduce the heart rate and blood pressure / as a matter of fact, it is one of the medicines used to treat pressure. The reduction in rate helps in alleviating the increase triggered by anxiety
Normal heart rate is 60 to 100 / there is no cause for concern
It does not cause ‘acid’ as a side effect

Good luck
God bless you

Brief Answer:
No issues of the rate / Drug stays ~ 1 day

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Heart rate of 60 is still in normal range / even a little less is no cause for concern
The blood level of any substance - including drugs - falls to negligible levels (5 % / < 2 Standard deviations) in by the end of 5th half life. Half-life of one day means half the substance will be cleared by the body in one day – in other words only 50% will remain on the end of FIRST half life time / At this rate, the reminder on end of SECOND ½-life = 25% / THIRD ½-life = 12.5% / FOURTH ½-life = 6.25% / FIFTH ½-life = 3.125% / SIXTH ½-life = 1.5625% / SEVENTH ½-life = less than 1 %
The plasma half-life of propranolol is less than 6 hours / that means – next day, the effects will be lost. ... .
