Is NuvaRing An Effective Reversible Method Of Birth Control?

default
Posted on Thu, 31 Dec 2015
Question: I use to be the Depo shot but I was having my period for a year and a half so my doctor decided that it would be best that I try the nuva ring. I'm currently on my ring free week and am back on my period, which is fine. My question is can I stop using the birth control now to get back on my regular cycle, so I am able to conceive? This is my first ring free week.

Brief Answer:
Yes. you can conceive

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand you wish to conceive.
XXXXXXX ring is an easily reversible contraceptive. You will be able to conceive if you don't use ring.

You can start trying for pregnancy now. Fertile days in the middle of cycle has maximum chance of pregnancy.

Okay so don't put the ring in and I will be able to conceive. How long do you think it would take?

Each cycle has chance of pregnancy around 10 to 15 percent provided sperms and your eggs are good.
