Posted on Wed, 13 Jul 2016
Question: Please refer this to Dr. Shoaib XXXXXXX have been working with him, so confusing, don't know how to contact him directly???????Dr XXXXXXX I have had three fairly painless IBS days, this is encouraging, Do believe my strict adherence to your diet may be working. Will continue it. Somewhat troubled that must use Linzess every other day to move my bowels. This is an inconvenience but far preferable to the intestinal pain. Would appreciate your thoughts. Also, is this the only way I can correspond with you after, after previous coresspondence says "closed"?

Brief Answer:
That is indeed awesome news sir

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again Mr. XXXXXXX

That is indeed great news, and all you actually needed is more determination and a stronger will power to help realise whats best for you. Along with this, a strong sense of realization should be present to recognize trigger factors that I have not mentioned, and avoid them completely. So you see, I only contribute mildly, most of the work in your recovery has to be done by you, yourself.

As for the Linzess, I don't see why you cannot use them. At least for while, giving your bowels enough time to heal and recover. May be one day, when you are symptom-free and are also living a healthy and safe trigger-free life, we can try getting you off them, but thats a discussion for another day, but sincerely hoping we get there some day.

For now, you can always contact me here. Even if the discussion has been closed, you can always write to me by opening a new discussion, and I shall write back to you.

Best wishes.
