not commonly used first line but it is an option

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

No, this is not usually used for vaginal yeast infections. Ketoconazole can be oral or topical. Oral ketoconazole is usually prescribed if other medications have been used and were ineffective.
Topical ketoconazole is sometimes used but may be used for 14 days

It is not the first line treatment.

Topical medication (clotrimazole, miconazole, butoconazole) or oral medication such fluconazole.
