Is Glutathione Intake Safe And Effective For Gilbert's Syndrome?
Question: I have a liver condition called XXXXXXX Syndrome. I was wanting to take some glutathione supplements. as glutathione is known to detoxify the liver and provide a clearer skin. I wanted to know whether glutathione is good for GS condition and if whether the effect of glutathione supplement, is as good as, if taken by any other normal person.

Gilbert's Syndrome is a beign condition found in 5 % of people. This is not considered a disease. No treatment is required for this condition as this condition does not cause any ill effects on health. Hence glutathione is not needed for this condition.
Glutathione is an anti-oxidant and hence may have beneficial effects. I am sure you can take glutathione even if you have Gilbert's syndrome.

Thank you very much for answering my question. I do have one query pertaining to my previous question. I do understand that there is no scientific claim about glutathione as a skin whitening agent or maybe there is, i just wanted to know whether the effect of taking the glutathione supplement will provide me the same effect if taken by a person with a normal liver condition. Is there a difference in that case?
