Question: My sister is taking arimidex for breast cancer...it is a hormone blocker. What should she be eating; so many foods have estrogen in them. Thanks

Since your sister is taking arimidex for breast cancer which contains anastrozole she can eat foods such as broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, grapes, tomatoes,walnuts , mustard, cherries and cranberries

When I said she is using arimidex I meant anastrozole. Is there a difference?
Also, Is there anything she shouldn't eat. Can you recommend any books.

You should avoid foods such as peanut oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, soybean paste, soy protein and sunflower oil.
