Brief Answer:
No, Acyclovir ointment can not be used on your mouth

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your question.

I read carefully your question.

The ointment can not be used inside the mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your nose, and eyes also (may burn).

There are though, Buccal tablets available that you can find in the local pharmacy that can be used in the mouth. Its very important thought to use it within 1 hour after the first signs of a cold sore and put it on the same side of the mouth as the cold sore. The pharmacist may also give some other advises for the use, but if you have questions, if you decide to get those, don't hesitate to write me.

Hope this is helpful. If I have answered your question please kindly close and rate the answer.

Take care.
