Brief Answer:
No possibility of HIV. Tests are conformatory. Relax

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the possibility of HIV after the incidence.

I have diligently analyzed your complete query and noted your concern.

After thoroughly interpreting each point let me reassure you first that there is no possibility of HIV in your case.

The test results of 4th generation ELISA and western blot at 5th month are conformatory and you do not require any further tests.

Chicken pox has got no relationship with your case. It was just coincidental that you got the same after 2 months of intercourse. The illness of Chicken pox does not hamper with the HIV test results.

Pimples are not a sign of HIV infection. These can occur to anyone at your age.

So allay all your fears for HIV and relax yourself.

I hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
No correlation of HIV with chicken pox and window period.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome back and thanks for posting your further concern.

Tearing of condom is considered to be a risk factor but that depends upon the time period of exposure, status of the partner's hiv status as well as the cuts or breech in the skin of both the partners and many more factors.

Overall your test results are totally confirmatory and you don't require any further testing. Previously the tests of second or third generation were not as sensitive as the latest fourth generation tests. These can detect the status even within 2 months. So 6 months is not a criteria now.

As I guided you earlier that chicken pox has got no correlation with HIV testing. So allay your fears and don't correlate the same with HIV. The chicken pox infection or its medication whether taken or not have got no impact on the test results of HIV. There is no extension of window period by chicken pox infection.

So allay all your fears for HIV.

I hope this helps.

Hy doctor, sorry for disturbing you again...I don't know absolutely about whether it is chicken pox or herbous simplex virus infection...most people near my house are said that it was chicken pox...my doubt is if it is herbous simplex virus infection means it would be shown my HIV positive in the fourth generation result,am I correct...if it is chicken pox means...I heard that due to low immune system the chicken pox occurs,my doubt is whether enough amount of antibodies are present in blood during the low immune system.. Can the low immune system produce enough amount of antibodies in blood for my fourth generation test at 18weeks...waiting for your answer.. Thanks in advance

Am asking that there are some pimples around my lips and a single pimple inside my lip...is this is herbous simplex virus infection or not..

Brief Answer:
No effect of herpes or chicken pox in test results.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome back and thanks for posting your further concern.

Both chicken pox and herpes simplex brings to same group of virus. So both of have same origin and set of genetic material. Both these can occur in healthy persons. It is not true that it occurs only in immunocompromised persons.

There is bit similarity of the symptoms in chicken pox and herpes simplex that there are formation of small vesicles. But the former occurs all over the body while the latter occurs only at lip or genital area.

There is no effect of any of these infections in HIV testing and there are sufficient antibodies being mounted if the person is infected. So in yiur case there had not been any effect of either herpes or chicken pox in the test results.

For the lip area concern I suggest you to kindly upload few good resolution pictures of the affected area. For that you have a feature on the right side of the page. Do let the know that time period since you have these spots.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

Welcome back and thanks for posting your further concern.

I reassure you fully that there is no effect of chikun pox with the testing ability of the hiv antibody. There is no direct or indirect interaction of the tests and it's antibodies with chikun pox to reduce the immunity and interfere with the test results.

I reassure you again that based on the time period your tests are confirmatory. There is no need to go for any further tests. Further I suggest you to not get indulge in such kind of activities and have safer sex practice.

Brief Answer:
Hepatitis C is basically in intravenous drug abuse.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome back and thanks for posting your further queries.

Hepatitis C is a chronic liver infection which is basically found in drug abuse by intravenous use. It is mainly blood borne viral infection and sexual transmission is actually been debated.

In your case the possibility is low as per the type of exposure. Most of times the it can be detected by ELISA method and the antibodies can be detected after 6 to 8 weeks of infection. Sometimes it may take even 6 months buy only rarely. Even if someone is worried then we go for PCR which can detect the virus within few weeks of exposure.

In my clinical experience I have not encountered any case getting Hepatitis C by sexual mode of any type. So allay all your fears for the same.

I hope this helps.

Your test are conclusive. Don't require any further tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

For the part of herpes also it generally manifests within 1 to 2 months of exposure. As it is already more than 5 months so in my experience you are not suffering from same.

The card test for both hiv and hepatitis C is confirmatory and you do not require any further tests.

Just allay all your fears and live a healthy life.
