Brief Answer:
Possible carpal tunnel syndrome.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

The symptoms you describe seem to be most probably due to nerve compression, most likely carpal tunnel syndrome. It is due to compression of the median nerve in the wrist, apart from the fingers it commonly radiates in the forearm as well and is more pronounced during the night.

I suggest to have nerve conduction studies to confirm the diagnosis and damage degree. At times when conservative measures like splints do not work surgery may be needed to relieve pressure from the nerve in the wrist.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again. Nerve conduction measures the velocity the signal travels in the nerve. So it uses two electrodes which are placed superficially on the skin along the nerve trajectory. One of them sends a mild electrical impulse through the nerve and the other records it in order to determine velocity of conduction and amplitude by computer analysis. This way can be determined whether there is damage to the nerve segment between the two electrodes, type and degree of damage. Of course can be done for different nerves and different segments of the same nerve. For carpal tunnel syndrome it's pretty easy to perform.

I hope to have been of help.
