Brief Answer:
Reeshape helps with exercises.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
You are on wonderful group of medicines. Your doctor would increase Sitagliptin to 100 mg per day if you are still not on that.
If your blood sugar doesn't get controlled by this , then addition of Pioglitazone may be helpful.
However, if blood sugars don't come in the desired range then you may require insulin.
As far as Reeshape is considered, it can be used but it's maximum effect is seen with exercises only. It just doesn't let your body absorb 30% of the dietary fat taken.
I have not seen a single person loosing weight just by taking Reeshape that is without exercises.
I would highly recommend you to go for exercises and if you have knee problems, go for cycling as it is relatively safe for knee. Start yoga along.
Exercise keeps your beta cell in function.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
