No long term side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Pregabalin is usually used for a nerve related pain. For a minor injury if you have used it for five days then there is no need to worry. If used for such a short duration, it ha no long term adverse effects. There is no need to worry. The effect of the drug will gradually decrease in next 4-7 days.
I hope this answers your query.

I do not and I never did have neorotic/ neuropathic pain or the like.
Still someone gave the wrong medicine because he could not hear me saying I got an injury. It was his lack of attention. If I didn't need it will it damage my nerves?
I am feeling drowsy and my hands, arms and legs have very mild twitching and I felt a mild numbing pain in both my soles of feet alternatively yesterday as well as today. Will it go away?

Brief Answer:
It will gradually decrease.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Pregabalin will cause any damage to the nerves. It can cause a slight short term numbness. The mild twitching will gradually decrease in next few days. Taking fresh fruit juices rich in electrolytes will help.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Hi, I am feeling some pain in the back of my neck and a stinging pain in my left ear.
Also behind the jaw and below the earlobe where there is a depression. Is it due to the medicine. On a scale of five I would rate the pain at 2

I feel my jaw is somewhat getting stiff and disaligned. My family doctor once said that medicine for neuritic pain is harmful if given wrongly. Can it harm the nervous system or the brain composition. Was the dose 75 mg per day a mild one?

In case the effects do not subside. What should I do
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr. Praveen Tayal (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Neurotic pain killer is having no adverse effect on nervous system and brain. 75 mg per day is very very safe .Jaw stiffness and dis alignment seems to be due to neurological pain.In case effects do non subside then consult neurologist.
