Hello,

Thanks for the query

Most often irritation of the throat with cough is due to pharyngitis. But to know the severity of it I would like to have more details.
Please get back to me the answers to these questions:

1. Is cough with expectoration or without?
2. Do you have fever as well?
3. How long have you had these symptoms?
4. Are you an asthmatic? Is cough associated with breathlessness?

In the mean time please follow these advises
1. Gargle your throat with warm water mixed with salt three times a day. Adding dissolvable aspirin such as ‘disprin’ to the water and gargling can give added benefits.
2. Avoid cold foods and beverages
3. Avoid spicy and oily food
4. Avoid milk and milk products

I am awaiting your reply.

I wish you good health

Regards
