Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse During The Pill Free Period?

Question: I have been taking the contraceptive pill XXXXXXX for 3 years for acne, i have never had sex before but im planning too, at the minute i am in my 7 day break my pill packet starts again on sunday if i was to have sex sunday or monday night would i be protected against pregnancy also by making sure we use a condom? I take my pill everyday at 7am to make sure ive an alarm set im just nervous as ive never had sex before and what to make sure i am protected

If you are taking XXXXXXX regularly without missing a pill then you are protected during the pill free period also. You can have sex on sunday and monday night and start the next pack on its scheduled time on sunday morning. If i am on XXXXXXX and we use a condom, what if the condom where to break or come off would i need to get emergancy protection or would i be protected enough?

Even if the condom slips off or breaks you need not take any emergency contraceptive pill. You will be protected enough against pregnancy. Taking an emergency pill will cause an irregular bleeding.

Just want to be clear on this, as i said been on XXXXXXX for 3 years for acne, last month i was on holidays alot so the latest i probably would have took my pill was 10am some days maybe 7am never missed a pill, now im in my 7 day break will be starting new packet on sunday so if i make sure to take these pills at 7am everyday am i protected even though last month the times varied?

A mild variation in the time occasionally does not cause a contraceptive failure. Since you are already taking the pill for last 3 years, there is no need to worry. You can start taking the pill on Sunday at 7 AM and you will be protected to have sex on Sunday and Monday. There is no need of any additional contraception. Please do not worry.
