Brief Answer:
There are chances of rebound anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello,'
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Although it can be stopped altogether as there is no evidence of addiction but there is possibility of rebound anxiety.

Having said this as six weeks passed since last episode the chance of new panic attacks is very low if any.

I like to conclude that although it can be stopped abruptly but have one or two in your hand so it can help you provided there is rebound anxiety.

I hope this helps you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

as a Psychiatrist maybe you can help me with my symptoms related to circumoral burning and tingling feet burning after walking and running my blood tests were perfect got them back two days ago and the xanax did help with those symptoms but I don't know if it is related to my generalized anxiety or the valium withdrawal. since it is a relative new symptom which just occurred after I started my exercise program I feel it started at about the same time and the symptom made me more anxious which sent me to the doctor. Its a difficult assessment. The best part is over the past 4 months I lost 25 pounds quit drinking nine months ago got off valium 4mos. ago and cut my blood pressure medicine down to near nothing. I am no stranger to anxiety had it since I was a teenager, I have switched to lower impact exercise and am using orthotics which seems to be helping a lot but I still feel there is an anxiety component to this because it definitely gets worse when I'm upset. Can I take the xanax prn.without getting in trouble with it.

Brief Answer:
Yes it is possible to withdraw

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

As stated above there is good possibility of xanax withdawal as there is no regular intake and no indication of addiction.

Regarding the burning sensation although anxiety could be cause but I feel vitamin B12 must be supplemented in diet. I feel this because it started with exercise which often helps in anxiety but the existing vitamin level goes down leading to development of symptoms.

I hope this answers you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
I think you should start again

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

First of all I like to inform you that theoretical points are not applicable in practical life and same is applicable to vitamin B12. Personally I feel any level below 700 is not normal and see great improvement on supplementation. You know the range is 291-889 (my laboratory) but I still insist on keeping it on the higher side due to obvious benefits.

In my view you should take it for two months on regular basis than give a gap of one month and than repeat after three months.

I hope this helps you further.
