Brief Answer:
KZ lotion is anti-dandruff shampoo

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
KZ lotion is a ketoconazole based lotion which has to be used as a shampoo.
Sometimes, due excess humidity and perspiration, fungal infections sets on scalp leading to flakes and itchy papules which is common termed as dandruff or pityriasis capitis.

I would suggest you antifungal lotion containing sertaconazole (ONABET) twice a day over scalp with use of KZ lotion as shampoo twice a week.
After 3 weeks, discontinue the sertaconazole lotion but continue shampoo as advised for few more weeks.

I am sure you will be fine soon.
thanks

Dr.,
Thanks for answering my first question. Now main problem is 'sun sensitivity' or 'sun allergy' condition. During severe humid summer in XXXXXXX XXXXXXX itching sensation comes, esp around my neck portion. The skin becomes red and rashes shows up when I stay in a humid sweating condition. In summer I cant stay without a fan or a mild AC. When I am in a cool room condition my skin remains calm without showing up irritation or rashes. But when I move to a humid, sultry place these symptoms shows up. The symptom subsides and bothers, on and off, like this. This affects my skin texture over a period of time. I tried allopathy, homeopathy and even ayurvedic medicines, but to no permanent cure. Especially for the past 3 to 4 years I experience this. It peaks up in summer. Now I am constantly using 'Rivela SPF50" sunscreen lotion daily and take twice a day cold bath which helps me to some extent. I use Pears soap as once advised by a skin doctor. Taking 'Teczine' - 5mg or 10 tablets in the night was helpful during treatment in the recent days. I have mild BP (taking Telsartan 20mg) and my sugar level was normal in the latest check up. Even in my younger days I used to have some mild skin problems now and then, but not so severe. I have undertaken trekking trips frequently till last year, but now the hot sun is a scare to me. Can you give me a permanent solution to this sun sensitivity problem ?

Dr.,
Can u please give some health tips to maintain a healthy skin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
For increased sun sensitivity, keep using Rivela sunscreen everytime before going out in sun.
Also additionally, I want to suggest you regular intake of oral ant -oxidants like betacarotene, zinc, copper etc. Of all anti-oxidants, Antoxid- HC is pretty up to the mark. One capsule has to be taken daily after breakfast and can be safely taken for months together.
As such for healthy skin, apart from regular use of sunscreen and intake of anti-oxidants, i would suggest regular use of good moisturiser like Cetaphil moisturizing lotion immediately after bath.
Use gentle soap or bodywash like NMFE bodywash for routine use.
Drink plenty of water and have lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Indulge into relaxation activity like meditation and other mild exercise like brisk walking or jogging.
Hope the information was useful.
Thanks
