Brief Answer:
You may need to monitor weekly and need Hematologist review for steroids

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had been experiencing lately.

Based on the history you have shared, this platelet count is significantly low, though not that much to be needing any active measures but critical monitoring preferably weekly is needed along with monitoring for any bruising or spots over the body along with, any blood in saliva, nasal bleed or black colored stools.

If platelets count falls further, a Hematologist review for a steroid pulse may be needed. Meanwhile, metformin, if you are using, should better be switched to other alternatives as there are incidences that show metformin to be aggravating ITP.

Wishing you a steady and best health. Hope this has answered your query if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Regards.
