Question: I m 4 week pregnent .. I took searle 1411 2 tablets orally .. And 2 inside my vigina .. after 4 houra taking these i started severe cramps clotting and bleed heavily for 8 hours maximum .. Now my bleeding is stop . Is it normal .. Abortion is done or still i need to wait . I m feeling nausea since morning but no bleeding .. What other procedure i have to follow to complete this abortion .. I m also taking augmentin 1g..

Hi and thanks for your query.

If vaginal bleeding was for more than 8 hours from the use of abortion pills, and your pregnancy was small, we say that the process of abortion is completed. It can be confirmed with an ultrasound.

But you should have a follow up visit after 10 to 14 days for two reasons :
1.because abortion pills cause incomplete abortion and you may need for another dose of abortion pills
2. You should start a contraception method.

Try to use much more fluids and iron rich foods.
