Question: I am a doctor. My lmp was 1/3/2015 I had sex the 16/3 and found out I was pregnant yesterday. I have taken Intramuscular methrotrexate 75 mg today. Should I take misoprostol or will methrotrexate only be sufficient at 11 days gestation.

Methotrexate alone can cause abortion but chances of incomplete abortion are more so according to various studies and recommendations it is important to take misoprostol 800 mg tablets vaginally after 48 hours of methotrexate injection.
So it will be in best of your interest to take the same.
