How To Stop Periods Temporarily?

Question: I m 51 years old and for the last year later experience irregular periods some times after 15days & some times after 30 on the. Now I want to stop the periods for 2 months as I have to go to pilgrimage. I started taking Deviry 10 mg medicine for the last 10 days bt periods again started. What should I do now. ShAll I continue this medicone or I have to change the medicine & if I have to continue then is it OK with 10 mg at night.
