Question: How to prevent eye floaters?
I have eye floaters without any retina detachment(got that checked everytime floaters increase). I also see flashes of light many a times which subsides on its own. I also sometimes have dry eyes and have shoulder, neck and upper back strain with tingling in arms and hands especially when I work long on my desk using a computer.

Brief Answer:
floaters flashes of light and dry eye.to be investigated and treated.

Detailed Answer:
Floaters are degenerative bodies in vetrious. Dry eye is not related to them. In cases where patients complain of floaters fundus examination preferably in indirect ophthalmoscope may be done. it is to cover wider field and to exclude tear, peripheral detachment and holes. If nothing is found then process may be repeated after 6 months. I am not sure if you have been through similar process. If not visit a retinal surgeon and discuss.

Dry eye is treated with artificial tear. refresh eye tear drop will be the best.

Tingling sensation may be due to neurological condition and I suggest you see a neurologist. In the meanwhile take tab neurobion forte daily for one month. Avoid having glaring look at computer. can take anti glare glasses.
