Question: Hi just curious to ask, I am not a HIV or AIDS patient but recently I saw in a News that HIV vaccine has discovered and if we take such vaccine, we will not be infected with HIV. is it true?. if so where can we go for it.

Secondly I am moving to Germany, as you know abroad people prefer quick dating. I am afraid that if I intercourse with HIV girl without any condom, is their any quick prevention like take pills before or after the intercourse.

Please answer to both of the questions.

Brief Answer:
Yes HIV vaccine is developed in some country's of the world.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Welcome to HCM.

You had truely heard that HIV vaccine is developed in some country's of the world but the data about it's efficacy are somewhat questionable so I will just say if you are willing than take it.

The best way to prevent the risk of HIV and other STDs is always do protected intercourse, avoid multiple sexual partners and other high risk behaviour like CSW. For post exposure you can take prophylaxis within 72 hours of contact.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
HIV vaccine is recently not available in XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

HIV vaccine is not available in XXXXXXX As far as post exposure prophylaxis is concerned it is given only after accidental exposure to prevent the infection from HIV. So the best solution is always use protection whenever do sexual intercourse in your new country. Never participate in an intercourse with unknown people. This is surest way to protect yourself.
