How To Lose Weight When Suffering From Hypothyroidism?

Question: I have hypothyroidism and I'm wondering if there is any hope to losing weight? For the last six months I have been on a gluten free, dairy free, no carb, high protein diet and have lost a total of 9lbs. I walk/job 4miles everyday along with P90 X. I have a desk job so for a good 8 hrs i'm very sedentary. How can I defeat this battle of the bulge?

I am sorry t hear about your inability to lose weight. May i know your weight and height please?

When was the last thyroid blood works done and what was the TSH value? What dose of levothyroxine are you on ?

Apart from hypothyroidism, we need to find out if you have any other hormonal problems. What about menstural periods? Are they regular?
Any pinkish strecth marks on abomen or thighs?
Do you snore when you sleep ?

Regarding your diet, do you use cholcolates, fast foods or high sugary food? What aout cola/pepsi or anyother soft drink use?

I would appreciate a reply so that i can assess your condition further and come up with a plan
