How To Identify Implantation Bleeding?

default
Posted on Tue, 1 Dec 2015
Question: Hi I started taking fertility blend for women about a month ago and this month i noticed a weird menstrual cycle. I am not sure if it is because of the product that my menstrual cycle has changed or could it be another problem or pregnancy? I usually have a fairly light to medium flow period that last 2-4 days but this month it has been very different. It started about halfway through the end of the day on the 3rd and it was light, then the following day, the 4th it was a normal full day flow. However after that the 5th until now (the 8th) i Have been having on and off very light bleeding . i went one whole day with nothing, then the following day light bleeding on and off. and today wore a tampon just in case and when i disposed of it , there was just a very little blood on it. The past few days though has not been an actual constant flow just blood here and there similar to discharge. Could it be implantation bleeding? My husband and I are TTC but last month i did not track my cycle so i dont know when i ovulated.

Brief Answer:
Not likely to be implantation bleeding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mild and irregular bleeding that you are having is not likely to be due to n implantation bleeding. Taking fertility supplements can cause such change in the cycle. Stress, anxiety and mild hormonal changes can also cause this effect. It is better to stop taking the supplement and see if your next cycle returns to normal.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Thank you , I figured it was probably due to hormonal changes and fertility blend that I am taking. However I am wanting to take the supplements for 2 months because it says it takes up to 3 months to kick in and regulate hormones. Do you know how well or accurate this product works? Would it be safe to try it for another month before I stop? I am taking Fertility Blend for women.
Thanks for replying!

Brief Answer:
Not likely to be helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Such products are usually herbal and contain multiple ingredients whose exact action or side effects are not well known. It is better to stop taking such supplements and take a multivitamin Vitamin E rich supplement as prescribed by your gynecologist to improve your chances of conception.
Hope my answer is helpful.
