Question: I have been belching and my stomach is upset for the last 2 days whats going on and how can I get rid of this

Brief Answer: Conservative measures will help Detailed Answer: Hi, thanks for writing in. If bowel movements are normal then there does not seem to be any infection. It could just be indigestion. I would suggest the following 1. Avoid meat and meat products. 2. Avoid spicy food articles. 3. Yoghurt or buttermilk is ideally to be taken after every meal for at least a week. 4. If there is burning sensation in the upper abdomen then a mild antacid like sucralfate is advisable. If the above measures do not give any relief then you need to consult a gastroenterologist. regards
