Brief Answer: ovulation induction required. deviry not recommend Detailed Answer: Dear XXXX Thanks for writing to healthcare magic. PCOS is associated with irregular periods. In irregular period there is absent or decreased ovulation. The eggs are not released from the ovary. In such case it's important to use ovulation induction tablets like clomiphene / Clofert/ Clomid so that eggs are developed and intercourse is timed around ovulation. taking deviry in last 15 days will regularise your period, but as you are planning to try for a baby the best drug is micronised progesterone suppositories twice a day from day 16 . Deviry is not recommended. I would recommend that you discuss with your gynaecologist regarding ovulation induction and switch from deviry to progesterone capsules every cycle. Please write back if you have any queries. Also latest hormone tests if mentioned is useful . Thanks Dr Bhagyashree
