Is it ok if I do some physical activities like push ups and stuffs.
I tend to get hungry soon , and some sounds from stomach , like stuffs moving.

My weight is 60 KG ,

I need to be minimum 67 kg.
Please guide my diet .
The main challenge is digesting the food and getting proper nutrition.
I cannot have much daiy products or nuts.
Is it ok to have mushrooms , and chicken?
Night i cannot have heavy food, it leads to lots of sweating at night and discomfort.
Sometimes after having food I feel acidic taste in mouth for long time.
Bad breath and coating on tongue is one more problem.

Hi

Thanks for posting your query

I think at 27 and 67 Inches 60Kg is OK

Why do you want to gain weight ?

Instead try keeping fit

From the information that you have provided it seems you are also suffering from Irritable bowel syndrome ?

What is your job profile ? Are you an anxious personality ? Are you under stress?

H Pylori infections tend to reoccur so it is better if you repeat the same treatment after 3 months or so

Here are few tips for diet etc in case of Gastritis and Reflux [ Acidic taste in mouth , coating of tounge and bad breath are because of reflux] :

1] Avoid spicy, fermented meals
2] Do not have heavy meals
3] Avoid smoking and alcohol
4] Wear loose clothes
5] Do not stoop
6] Do not lift heavy weights
7] Raise the head end of your bed
8] If Obese lose weight
9] If under stress - Manage stress levels by meditation and exercise

Any specific diet that causes problem needs to be avoided as it varies from a case to case basis

The passage of winds could be because of IBS so add an probiotic twice a day for two weeks

Hope this helps

Hello Doctor ,

Thanks for your answer.

Last year I was 65 to 67 kgs , recently I have lost (spcially after the tonsil operation) , and look little thin , specially lack of facial flesh.
I will not lift any heavy weight, never do also.
Is it ok to do push ups and sit ups and chin ups , those kinds of stress full physical exercises? I feel the need to build some lean muscles just to gain confidence and for a better personality. Off course I need to be fit at 1st. Please suggest.

I am a software Engg .
Stressed personality , offlate been through some stress, which I will work out on.

Right now I am taking Colospa Retard and Pantocid.
H Pylori treatment I will ask my doctor . Is endoscopy the only way to find that infection?

I have little Erectile dysfunction problem because of which I am taking drugs , tazzle and one more tablet , dont remember the name now, will check ,I wonder if that can have any side effects.

Is it not good to have 2 days old refrigerated food.
I cook myself and usually cook food every 3rd day.
I have home made butter milk , soya milk (bought from stores) , guava , XXXXXXX in my every day usual diet. Have chicken 2 to 3 times a week , and mushrooms , rest all normal stuffs.

The main problem I have is

1) sleep problem due to upper abdominal discomfort (early morning specially)
2) bad breath at times
3) multiple times passing motion, passing winds , burping
4) cant give more than 2 to 3 hrs gap , feel hungry or start burping

What is probiotic , should I take any tablets for that or food.

Thanks & Regards XXXXXXX

Hi

Thanks for posting your followup query

The best way to gain weight is to increase the amount of fat in diet, you may take cheese and cream on a regular basis

It is ok to do push ups and sit ups and chin ups

Do not stoop

Reduce your stress levels and lot of symptoms wont need any treatment

H Pylori can be detected by a Blood, Stool or a breath test

You may continue your medicines

It is not advisable to take two days old refrigerated meals, cook fresh meals daily

All the below mentioned symptoms can be controlled if you take probiotic [Capsule] twice a day and Rabprazole with Domperidone twice a day before meals for atleast 2 -6 weeks

1) sleep problem due to upper abdominal discomfort (early morning specially)
2) bad breath at times
3) multiple times passing motion, passing winds , burping
4) cant give more than 2 to 3 hrs gap , feel hungry or start burping

In case the bowel motion problem persists you may get a stool report done and if need be a culture of stool

Hope this helps

Hello Doctor ,

Thanks a lot for answering my questions.

>>you take probiotic [Capsule] twice a day and Rabprazole with Domperidone twice a day before meals for atleast 2 -6 weeks

Can I get it without a prescription from stores?
Can I take these medicines along with the pantocids and Colospa retard?

>> The best way to gain weight is to increase the amount of fat in diet, you may take cheese and cream on a regular basis

May be I wont be able to digest too much of fat with my current situation.
Will take some health mix may be?is it harm full? specially when I am a gastritis patient. Please suggest.

How does weight lift affect the gas problem?
can you please enlighten me a little?

Thanks & Regards XXXXXXX

Hi

Thanks for your followup query

Yes you may possibly get it without a prescription

Stop Pantocid and but continue colospa retard

No it wont harm if it is not chocolate based

Weight lift does not affect gas problem, if you have reflux and you stoop or bend down the gastric juices come in to the Oesophagus and cause oesophagitis

Hope this helps

Hello Doctor,

Thanks for the answers .
I am almost done with my queries.May be this is the last one.
I tend to get mucus in my stool on and off which I didn't mention before.
SO the earlier mentioned medicines (probiotic) should take care of it?
Any suggestions?

You said not to have fermented food , so should I stop curd and buttermilk(made from curd , grinded and the butter layer removed) ?

Was wondering if I can avail any service like this with a dietitian here on this site for my proper food chart.

Thanks & Regards XXXXXXX

Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for the followup, Unfortunately was held up in a busy surgery schedule resulting in the delay to reply

You are welcome to get your doubts cleared to your satisfaction

If you recollect in my first reply I have mentioned about IBS, patient with IBS usually pass mucus, if it is not infective collitis probiotic will definitely take care, else you may go for a stool report and get back to me

Curd and Buttermilk will on the contrary help you, curd is a natural probiotic, because you are from South I felt it worthwhile mentioning fermented foods like Idli , Dosa and Wada

For a dietician you may write to the moderators of the forum they will help you

Hope this helps

Hello Doctor,

Can I take these medicines along with the pantocids and Colospa retard?

You asked to stop pantocid and continue Colospa retard.
So along with Colospa should I take that probiotic capsul only or Rabprazole with Domperidone also?
can you tell me any brand name for probiotic capsuls and the other which I should ask in the stores may be?

And one final query ,
If in future I want to get back to you with any queries , how do I do that?
In this forum I cannot select a doctor on my own I guess.

Thanks & Regards XXXXXXX
