How To Calculate The Date Of Ovulation?
Question: Hi Doctor,
I am 34 age(running) and my wife is 28 (running) we are planning for the first pregnancy. I have few questions regarding this. This is our first time.
1. What is the till the man and woman be fertile, in the sense till what age the sperm count is good in both of us to get a baby.
2. My wife get her mesus between 20th to 26th of each month, so what is the fertile period for her. (28 days window).
3. After having intercorse can she go and clean her vagina or not (without protection)? if she does so will it affect her pregnancy i mean will she not become pregnant. If she doesnt clean and sleeps the same way will it causes infections or not?
4.what are the steps she need to take after intercorse so that she can get her pregnancy.

It is best if a women has baby before 35 years of age. This will favor a more healthy child.
2. My wife get her mesus between 20th to 26th of each month, so what is the fertile period for her. (28 days window).
If her last period was on 20 September 2014 then the fertile days in the coming six monthly cycles are as follows
October 29, 2014 - November 3, 2014
November 26, 2014 - December 1, 2014
December 24, 2014 - December 29, 2014
January 21, 2015 - January 26, 2015
February 18, 2015 - February 23, 2015
March 18, 2015 - March 23, 2015
3. After having intercorse can she go and clean her vagina or not (without protection)? if she does so will it affect her pregnancy i mean will she not become pregnant. If she doesnt clean and sleeps the same way will it causes infections or not?
The vagina cleans itself by secretions. There is no need to was inside the vagina after intercourse. This washing may cause infections and also washout sperms thereby decreasing chances of pregnancy. There will be no infection if does not wash and both of you are healthy.
4.what are the steps she need to take after intercorse so that she can get her pregnancy.
It is best to have sex in missionary position with the woman lying down. Please put a pillow below her hips to favor deep deposition of semen in vagina near the cervix to increase chances of pregnancy.

2.After intercorse does my wife need to stay still and take rest without moving so that she can increase the chances of pregnancy? and does she need to put her legs in 30 degree angle to take rest after the intercorse?
3.Last month she got it on 26th of september 2014 and she usually gets it in between 20th to 26th.
