How Long Is Dosage Of Asthalin, Seroflo And Budecort Required For Asthma?

Question: I am a 36 year old female suffering from asthma since childhood. I have been prescribed asthalin, seroflo and budecort inhalers. How do I take them all and for how long? Also I am very worried about weight gain. Kindly advise. Thank you. XXXX

I can understand your concern.
Seroflo is having salmeterol and fluticasone.
Salmeterol is long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA) and fluticasone is inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). LABA and ICS combination is treatment of choice for asthma.
Budecort is having budesonide. It is also ICS. So no need to take Budecort because you are taking seroflo.
Same way, no need to take asthalin regularly. Asthalin is having salbutamol. It is short acting beta 2 agonist (SABA). It is used in emergency situation, as and when needed. It should not be taken regularly.
If you are controlled with seroflo than no need to take Budecort and asthalin regularly.
Are you taking any other drugs like oral steroid or oral bronchodilators?
