How Long Does Steroids Remain In The Body?

Question: My son is 16 year old now. He was diagnosozed with kukichi Fugi moto diesese at the age of 11 years. He was treated with Cortisol steriod 60 mg. This was tapered in 6 mnts. This disease recurred two more times in last four years and the doctor used the same medicine and tapered in the span of 3 to 6 months. Now he is healthy. and No steriods from past Eighteen months . I wanted to check whether its body still contains the traces of Steriods. is there a way to measure? shall i consider some de toxification for him. He has put on good amount of weight. Is this is due to the steriods he took . He is 5.7 feet tall and weighs 86 kg. Please help.

Steroids don't remain in the body for that long time
1. No need to detoxifying him. There is no need to measure.
2. Yes weight gain could be due to steroids.
But don't worry now that you stopped them he shouldn't gain further
3. Try vegetables and fruits and restrict carbohydrates and fat.
Ensure he plays and works his body. Avoid sedentary habits like TV and video games.
