Question: Hi. My left ovary is 47cc and my right is 4.1cc. I missed my period 13 XXXXXXX Last period 15 Dec which was normal flow until I got brown blood after 5 days red blood. The brown blood lasted 2 weeks. I've never had this before. My Pap smear was normal in Sept 2014. My blood work great. Had a virginal ultra sound 19 XXXXXXX and it showed I'm mid cycle but I was actually 6 days late. I'm 45. My estrogen still high at 607. Not menopause as that's 0-120. I've had PMS with stomach cramps all of january. I'm looking very tired. My GP has set up a specialist but can't get in until end of March. I am stressed and a little under weight. I've been trying to find work. I don't have financial pressure but I'm not used to rejection. On 4 Feb I went to the emergency with stomach pain. Before this started on 7 Dec 2014 I had a car accident and then my period came on time 15 Dec as above but abnormal for me. Now I don't know if this is related. I have seen a gyni at outpatients and she put me on promulot for 10 days but I stopped after 7 because the drug was making me sick with bad headaches, strange feelings in my legs and stomach. Twice before I have lost large clots on this drug and hemorrhaged. The gyni on Friday told me to stop it. This doctor did cancer marker tests, pregnancy tests, other blood tests and they all came back clear. So the cyst from the 2 virginal scans indicate a 4cm simple cyst. Still uncertain if in the tube or outside the tube. Been told not the reason for missing my period. My last virginal ultra sound showed the lining was ready to shed. Of course I've taken now 7 days of promulot but still no bleeding just pain. Yesterday after broken sleep from pain I went to the Royal Woman's hospital in Melbourne. There they checked my cervix and found nothing. They took some swabs but previous tests were negative for stds in Sept 2014. There was no discharge found. What else can be wrong ? Why hasn't the promulot worked so far? What else can I do? My hormone analysis shows I'm not premenopausal. Can it be just stress? I'm so tired from this issue. Constant pain and no resolution.

Hi. I was thinking so. Well last night I started cramping badly. My legs tingling. Pain in my pubic bone. During the night got some light blood on tissue paper. Woke up 6am fresh blood. Yippee. I started 8.30am today bleeding heavy in the toilet. Some clots came out too. Gyni told me to take Tranexamic acid 500mg 1x 3 times a day. So once started bleeding I took this. Now bleeding reduced a lot. Nothing much on the pad. Should I keep taking this drug? I have very bad headache now from it I think or just been very tired. Should I stop taking this drug? I thought the idea is to bleed out what's accumulated. I'm confused.
