How Long Does Cortisone Take To Show Effect?
Question: Hi. I have been having back spasms that have also been felt in my upper right abdominal. I went to a back specialist Thursday of last week and he used trigger point injections with cortisone in four spots in my back. My question is now that ivenrested some up too the injections how long does it take the injections to really work?

The back spasms that you have can be relieved to some extent with a hot compress and applying local analgesic gel like Volini. Do take an oral muscle relaxant in case the spasms are strong.
