How Is Unwanted Kit Containing Mifepristone Used?

Question: Hi doctor , we are newly married couple and today was our first day and we are not planning for baby right now. i have bought this mankind unwanted kit which contains 1 mifepristone and 4 misoprostol tablets not to get pregnent. Is this correct tablet and what time she should have to take her tablet.

1. These tablets are only taken if pregnancy is confirmed. There is no need of these tablets now.

2. You can take simple over the counter drug like ipill now.

3. Next time take oral contraceptive pills regularly as these emergency contraceptives are not safe each time.

thank you doctor for your reply .....she took her i pill after 38 hrs ...whether it will be effective .....she ate some papaya after 10 hrs and she is suffering from abdominal pain what would be reason for this......

thank you for answering all my questions patiently....as i have mentioned earlier...she had underwent a laproscopic surgery to remove acetic fluid from her uterus on sep 2013....again last month march 2013 we reffered a gynegocologist ,she mentioned for ultrasonic testing in uterus ,report says that once again fluid is formed in her uterus with small amount.....so does this fluid would have any reaction with i pill tablet........

She can take the medicine. This surgery will not have problem with pill.

I am concerned that it will be difficult for her to conceive with this kind of picture seen at surgery.

I think you should not try to take I pill and prevent pregnancy as chances of pregnancy are not very high with such a picture seen at surgery.

Dont take pill and wait to see if she conceives. If she does not conceive you should see an infertility Specialist for doing HSG to check fallopian tubes.
