Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for the Query.

I would like to know few more things which would help me in suggesting you better:

1.) Is your Glans penis swollen or Painful?
2.) Are you circumcised?
3.) Do you have fever with chills?
4.) Do you have burning sensation while passing urine?
5.) Have you had a sexual encounter with a stranger?
6.) Are you Diabetic?
7.) Is there Foul smelling discharge?

Your History suggests, you are suffering from either:

1.) Balanitis
2.) Balanoposthitis

Balanitis is the inflammation foreskin and head of the penis. It may happen due to poor hygiene or use of Harsh soaps which has not been washed. Kindly don't worry as there nothing seems be serious.

You should be getting yourself examined by a Urologist so that he may examine you and run few tests like,

1.) Blood Work
2.) Urinalysis
3.) Skin Biopsy (if necessary)

Once confirmed, the treatment will depend upon the cause. Your Doctor may prescribe, antibiotics, steroids and in severe cases may suggest circumcision if you are not circumcised.

It is easily controllable with medications and Good Personal hygiene.

Follow these lifestyle modifications:

1.) Maintain proper hygiene
2.) Avoid sexual contact with a stranger
3.) Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight
4.) Eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and XXXXXXX leafy vegetables
5.) During bathing, retract the foreskin to adequately clean and dry the area.
6.) Stick to your treatment plan and go for regular follow up.

Hope I have answered your query, I Will be available to answer your Follow up Queries.

Wish you Good Health.

Hi XXXXXXX

Thank you for writing Back.

Your Follow up History suggests two risk factors, that is a

1.) Sexual encounter
2.) Not circumcised.

I would suggest, get yourself examined by a Urologist at the earliest so that he may examine you and rule out the conditions which I had mentioned earlier along with STI if any.

As I said, the treatment will depend upon the cause.

I Hope you will follow the lifestyle modifications which I had told you, stick to your treatment plan and go for regular follow up.

Wish you Very Good Health.

Take Care.
