Brief Answer: Need more information Detailed Answer: Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your concern and I have understood it. As far as the first sexual encounter is concerned it was well protected and therefore was safe. 2nd sexual encounter there was a possible direct genital to genital contact, which does confer some risk of acquiring an STD. Fingering is a very low risk activity. Most of the HIV is acquired through vaginal or anal route. If we suppose she was HIV +ve then the virus should enter your body through a cut or break in your skin(of fingers) in order for you to get HIV. I would like to gather some more information from you in order to be able to help you better. --Was this your first sexual encounter or have you had previous sexual encounters as well?If yes, were your past sexual encounters protected or unprotected? --Have you ever got yourself tested for HIV before? regards

I had before and I had tested pcr DNA , elisa after specific period. I am circumsised.no cut in finger.i want to know about HIV transmission if during second time , after doing sex when I remove the penis I saw condom a bit forward due to slight shrinking of the penis .there was no break in the condom but condom was bit forward.so even though the tip of the penis is cover is there chances of HIV .the girl looked normal without any single pimple in her I guess .is there any chances of HIV

Brief Answer: Negligible risk Detailed Answer: Hi. In your 2nd sexual encounter with that girl, there was a possible direct genital to genital contact(as you said the condom slipped away), which does confer some risk of acquiring an STD. Though your acquisition risk remains negligible so long as the business end of your penis remained ensheathed in the condom. As a precautionary measure you should still get yourself tested for HIV. Regarding HIV testing, a single HIV-antibody ELISA test at the three-month mark is all that is warranted. Regards

Hi sir , is there any cases that condom half slip causes HIV . what std tests need to be done . can I have pcr DNA after 8-10 days for HIV. for stds , do the necessary symtoms are burning urination, pimples, white discharge. what are the incubation period of different stds . do HIV can happen by this way as I did. the girl was rushing to wash her genitals , may be of fear and taking precaution.so do you think she can react this way if she had HIV. doctors says pcr can be done very soon as in a week. plz help with answer to the above questions. Brief Answer: Get tested with RT PCR DNA for HIV. Detailed Answer: Hi. I cant tell you the exact incidence of getting HIV through a half-slipped condom because such an incidence in not reported in literature, but it is negligible because the glans was protected. Nevertheless you should get tested for HIV. RT PCR can detect HIV at about a 7 to 10 days after infection. For ELISA you have to be negative at 3 months (window period ) to be absolutely sure whereas in case of RT PCR DNA for HIV the window period (the time from infection when it can be detected by a test) gets reduced to about 9 days. Other STDs like -Gonorrhea present with pus discharge per urethrum and burning micturation. Incubation period is 2-5 days. -Syphilis presents with a painless genital ulcer: Incubation period is 9-90 days and -Herpes genitalis presents with genital erosions: Incubation period is 2-5 days. STD s like genital warts and molluscum can be contracted via skin to skin contact(as in your case). In future if you do notice any growth or papules/bumps on skin down there, you should consult a dermatologist. You can get yourself tested for HIV with RT PCR DNA in about 7-10 days time after contact. regards
