Brief Answer:
Good brushing technique and flossing

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.
Thanks for sharing your concern.

Plaque gets accumulated on teeth within 24 hours after food regularly.Plaque is nothing but a film which contains food particles, debris and microbes. Now this gets cleaned very easily upon brushing, following good brushing technique.

Daily twice brushing is recommended.Once in the morning before/after breakfast and in the night after dinner regularly.

Now mere cleaning cannot prevent deposition of calculus on our teeth. These are hard deposits and cannot get cleaned by regular brushing.Since there rate of deposition is too slow. Therefore it is recommended to visit dentist once in every six months and get professional cleaning or scaling done.

2.Enamel loss occurs due to deposition of harmful acids on it.This acid is produced by the microbes present in plaque and calculus.
Therefore regular brushing, flossing and scaling with routine dental checkup will help overcome the problem.

Hope it helps.
