There is nothing like normal oxygen level for a smoker.In smokers it is not normal.
For a normal person oxygen saturation in blood called "SpO2" should be 100.It must not be lass than 96 to be normal.In smokers this saturation decrease up to 90.
This decrease in level depends upon quantity,quality and duration of smoking as well as physical health and nutrition of a person.As lung damage increases, saturation decreases.Smoking habit cause direct damage to lungs.
Roughly we can say 10 cigarettes per day for 5 years can decrease saturation of oxygen up to 95.
