Question: How do i know if i have a hormonal imbalance? is there any tests to confirm the same.
I have regular periods however the cycle varies from 28 days to 35 days.

Thanks for posting your query.

First of all it is important to know whether you are ovulating or not. You could know it by 2 ways,

>First by your self: like having pain or discomfort in abdomen in mid cycle, mild increase in body temperature and change in character of cervical mucus.

>Second by ultrasound examination.

If the only thing you are concerned is variation in duration of period there is nothing to worry.

This could be absolutely normal in many females. Still if you are concerned and having some other problem than one can think of some hormonal imbalance.

Please consult a gynaecologist and get your self examined.

There could be some hormonal imbalance like thyroid,prolactin and other hormones, their level in the body can be measured by blood tests as per advise from your doctor
