How Can I Conceive With Fertility Problems ?

default
Posted on Fri, 20 Apr 2012
Question: Age 21
height 160 cm
weight48 kg
Medical history:
1)Removed Ovarian Cyst on right side in 2007
2)Consuted Gynec for infertility in 2011
After medicine failed got the HSG test done
HSG report says Right fallopian tube blocked and hydrosalpinx and left fallopian tube is normal
Gynec suggested Laproscopy to open blocked tube and remove hydrosalpinx
In Laproscopy, it is revealed that Right Ovary is absent and there in no spillage from left tube so left tube is blocked!
Gynec Suggested IVF? What do you suggest?
Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

It’s hard to explain why there is so much difference in the HSG and laparoscopy reports. Do you have a DVD of the laparoscopy ? If yes, you may sent the report to my attention at YYYY@YYYY

It is also difficult to predict if IVF is necessary based on this report alone. I suggest you to do a complete workup before starting treatment haphazardly.

You need to do ALL the following simple medical tests:

2. Semen analysis for your husband ( to check his sperm count and motility). Read more at WWW.WWWW.WW
2. Blood tests for you for the following reproductive hormones – FSH ( follicle-stimulating hormone),LH ( luteinizing hormone),PRL ( prolactin) , AMH ( antiMullerian hormone) and TSH ( thyroid stimulating hormone) on Day 3 of your cycle, ( to check the quality of your eggs). Do this from a reliable lab such as SRL ( www.srl.in). Day 1 = Day the period starts.

3. The vaginal ultrasound scan on Day 10-11 should check for the following. A. ovarian volume b. antral follicle count c. uterus morphology d. endometrial thickness and texture

Please send me ALL the detailed test results and medical reports . You can scan them in as a single doc or pdf file and email them to my attention at YYYY@YYYY too.

Please send me all the results together, rather than piecemeal, so I can interpret them intelligently

With these test results, we can determine what medical problems are causing your
Infertility and the ways to handle it.

Awaiting your reply.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

Both the HSG and laparoscopy reports confirm your left tube is normal !

One tube is enough for normal fertility

The question should NOT be "Why am I not getting pregnant ? "
Rather, it should be - What can I do in order to get pregnant ?"
After all, no one cares about problems - we only care about results - about having a baby !

The fact that you are not getting pregnant means that the eggs and sperm are not meeting in your fallopian tube when you are trying naturally.

Your next step is HMG/IUI, to increase the chances of the eggs and sperm
meeting. You can read about this at WWW.WWWW.WW
If 3 cycles of this fail, then consider IVF ( WWW.WWWW.WW

Treatment takes about 20 days. Should I send you the treatment plan ?

Because we have such high success rates, we can also offer you a guaranteed pregnancy treatment option for IVF treatment.
You can read more about this at WWW.WWWW.WW You pay for 4 cycles in advance.
If you get pregnant in any of these attempts ( and you can do these 4 cycles at your convenience over a 2 year period), everyone is happy !
If you do not get pregnant in these 4 cycles, we refund your money back to you.
This option will help you reduce your emotional risk and your financial risk

Taking treatment at a world-class clinic will maximise your chances of success and give you peace of mind you did your best !

We look forward to helping you to have a baby !

And sir, In Laproscopy's report it says in the end that "No free spillage of XXXXXXX from both tube". doesnt it mean that Left tube is blocked?
Thank you!

Hi,
Thanks for the follow up.

IUI(Intrauterine Insemination) increases the chances of the eggs and sperm meeting and can be used for unexplained infertility as well.

No one can predict this.

The success rate is 10% in a perfect IUI cycle.

Yes, but given the fact that the spill is so clearly seen on the left side in the HSG(hysterosalphingogram), this is hard to trust !

Wishing you good health.
