Question: I woke up with a bruise on the inside of my left wrist. It wasn't there last night. It doesn't really hurt . There a sore spot near the center of it. Its the size of a quarter. Could it be an insect bite?

Brief Answer:
probably benign lesion but could be insect bite also.

Detailed Answer:
Respected XXXX, Hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.

* Yes definitely can be insect bite in absence of any injury / harsh rubbing with any surface.

* Will appreciate if you kindly provide a clinical photograph of that part (if not objectionable) which will help more to evaluate it more precisely. You can simply upload/attach the picture to the reports section of this web page.

* Is it itching? how is overlying skin color? any other symptom apart from it?
